Troopers guide baby geese in "slowest pursuit ever"

(CHP-Oakland)

A flock of baby geese are safe, thanks to some troopers, after they found their way onto a busy interstate over the weekend!

The California Highway Patrol- Oakland says they spotted the little ones crossing Interstate 80 in Berkeley Sunday morning, so they decided to help.

In what they're calling their "slowest pursuit ever", a group of troopers created a perimeter around the geese in their patrol cars, and then slowly guided them off the roadway and back into the bay.

They say the birds left nothing but a traffic jam in their wake.
