VIDEO: Motorcyclist wipes out in front of officer

- It was a hard lesson for a motorcycle rider in Sandy Springs.

The police department posted a video to their Facebook page showing an officer following a motorcycle rider who was heading north on Roswell Road. The officer noticed the bike didn’t have a tag and hit the “blue lights” on the rider. The motorcyclist tried to make a run for it by getting on Interstate 285 west, but didn’t quite make it.

The biker wiped out in front of the cruiser. The pursuit lasted all of 10 seconds.

Is not having a tag on your motorcycle worth taking a hard fall or would it be easier to just stop for the Sandy Springs Police officer behind you trying to get you to stop? #JUSTSTOP
