Video of 3-year-old smoking marijuana leads to arrest
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A shocking video of a three-year-old boy apparently smoking marijuana led to the arrest of his uncle after it received tens of thousands of views on Facebook, according to Arkansas police.
The video shows the child sitting unrestrained in the backseat of a car and being handed what appears to be a marijuana blunt by his uncle.
Lamel Yancy, 17, was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor after authorities discovered the disturbing video while investigating an unrelated burglary charge, Fox 43 reported.
The video shows Yancy apparently passing the marijuana to the boy and telling the child to “hit the blunt.” The boy can be heard saying “weed” and coughing as he appeared to smoke the marijuana several times.
