NEW SMYRNA BEACH (FOX 13) - A woman in New Smyrna Beach got an alarming surprise while driving on State Road 44 last week.
Angela Kaplan freaked out when she saw a snake slithering on her car’s windshield, while she was in the middle of driving.
Kaplan quickly took her phone out and recorded video of the snake, which she later sent to her mom, Pina Kaplan. Still shocked by the incident, Pina shared the video on Facebook.
Pina said in her Facebook post that her daughter called her freaking out, but Pina's phone died while they were talking. So, Kaplan’s grandfather came to the rescue. But when he got there, he did not find a snake.
It is unclear what kind of snake it was. Luckily, the incident did not cause a crash.
Pina probably said it best in her Facebook post, "Only in Florida!"
