Tampa’s American Victory Ship is a floating mariner’s museum, but the month of October turns the ship into a zombie-ridden trap of apocalyptic proportions.

UNdead in the Water is described as “an interactive, disturbing attraction featuring brain and heart-eating zombies who have taken over Tampa Bay."

Once you step onto the haunting WWII, 1945 American Victory Ship, you'll walk cavernous decks, multi-level ladders, eerie hallways, and even tour the Captain's Quarters, engine room, and bowels of the ship.

Organizers say each person will be given their own UV flashlight to find their way around and escape the zombie infestation.

The transformed WWII ship is located at 705 Channelside Drive in Tampa, just behind the Florida Aquarium. It's open from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday through the month of October as well as Thursday, Oct. 18 and Wednesday, Oct. 31.

General admission is $13 per person, $10 for active military, veterans, and first responders. The experience is recommended for ages 13 and up. For more information, visit americanvictory.org or undeadinthewater.com.
