Watch: Brave Maltese faces winds of Hurricane Florence

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (STORYFUL) - A very good, very brave Maltese faced the winds of Hurricane Florence head-on, from her perch on the porch of her owner's Virginia Beach home Thursday.

Maggie, a 14-year-old Maltese, leaned into the winds of Hurricane Florence as its bands began lashing the east coast. 

Caroline Doub Kelly recorded a video of Maggie's amazing strength in the face of whipping, tropical storm-force winds.

Kelly, a high school math teacher, said she was happy to spend her day with Maggie after school was canceled due to flooding surges.

Kelly’s balcony overlooks the Chesapeake Bay, she said.
