TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - The Home Show has come back to the Florida State Fairgrounds.
The self-proclaimed “largest” Spring Home Show will be open to the public from March 15 to 17. There are all sorts of products available for home improvement and décor.
Probably one of the more interesting one is a fire extinguisher in the shape of a ball. It’s called Auto Fire Guard, and the company describes it as a fire suppression device. You simply need to throw or roll the three-pound ball into flames. As soon as it touches fire, it bursts and spreads a powder-like flame retardant substance within 900 cubic feet.
The clean-up following an Auto Fire Guard burst is minimal, according to the company, and only requires a vacuum cleaner and a mop and bucket. The chemicals are not harmful to humans, animals or the environment. The product is about $120. For more information, head over to Auto Fire Guard’s website.
The Home Show is also hosting their 2nd Annual Spring GardenFest, which includes more than 60 vendors of plants and flowers – just in time for the spring season. For additional information on this year’s "Largest Spring Home Show," head over to the event website.
