Hillsborough County deputies are searching for a Tampa man who stole two wedding rings from an assisted living facility.

Deputies said 24-year-old Dian'te Matthew was employed at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living Facility as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The facility is located at 13810 Sheldon Road. They said he stole a 91-year-old victim’s wedding ring and pawned it on June 14,

Later in their investigation, they said they discovered a second victim’s wedding ring was pawned on May 26. Both rings were found and returned to the victims.

Matthew was fired on June 17 after not showing up for work, and deputies say he hasn’t been seen since. They issued an active warrant for his arrest for grand theft, defrauding a pawnbroker and exploiting an elderly person.
