FHP: 3 kids, 1 worker injured after car slams into daycare

- At least three children and one staff member were injured after a car slammed into a daycare Tuesday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened at the Academy of Creative Learning in the 1600 block of Banyan Drive in Venice around 9 a.m.

Updated reports from the Florida Highway Patrol say the children only had minor injuries, and therefore were not taken to the hospital.

The adult, however, was transported for treatment.

FOX 13 will continue with updates as they become available.
