Filings suggest new water slide coming to Adventure Island
TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - It looks like Adventure Island is planning to make a splash with a new ride.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that plans have been filed with the Southwest Florida Water Management District for a proposed project labeled “Adventure Island Project 90.”
The theme park blog Screamscape indicates Adventure Island plans to open a new water slide in 2020.
All the theme park would say is that it’s continually working to enhance their guest experience with new park improvements.
It is common for theme parks to replace older attractions to lure more guests to the park.
The most recent ride addition was ‘Vanish Point’ water slide, which opened last year.
