Kittens found in taped-up, abandoned box

Six kittens were found abandoned in a taped up box on Wednesday morning.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay found them after they were left out in the rain. That morning, the veterinarian staff dried them off and they are now receiving the care they need.

The organization shared a Facebook video message to provide an update on the little ones. They appear to be four weeks old, according to Darlene, the community outreach manager, and they are doing well. It may be another four weeks before they can be adopted. Until then, they will be placed in a foster care to receive the  loving they need.

“Poor little things were scared, wet and hungry,” one of the workers said. “They’ll be perfect little October babies.”
