Search for man who broke into empty St. Petersburg classroom

Police are searching for a man who broke into a St. Petersburg classroom over the weekend, they say.

On April 14, the unidentified suspect broke into a Head Start classroom in the 2300 block of 9th Avenue South while it was closed for the weekend, according to St. Petersburg police.

They released surveillance video showing the man rummaging through some of the cabinets and drawers. They said he may have been sleeping there because he moved pillows and blankets into another room. At the end of the video, he makes eye contact with the surveillance camera.
