St. Pete porch pirate steals two packages from home

- St. Petersburg police are searching for a porch pirate.

Police said the unidentified man stole two packages from the front porch of a home in the 3100 block of 21st Street North. The agency released surveillance video showing him approaching a rocking chair in shorts and a t-shirt, picking up the boxes, and tucking them under his arm.

The incident occurred on July 23. Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to call the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780.
