Winter Haven police search for three shoplifting suspects

- Winter Haven police are looking for three adults who brought a child to steal from a Walmart, they said.

On Monday, the adults and child entered the Walmart at 7450 Cypress Gardens Boulevard through the garden center and headed to the electronics section where they began placing items, such as sound bars, into carts, police said.

According to a media release, a male adult took the child and went back to the car, a black Chevy Impala. He was seen moving the vehicle to near the automotive section of the parking lot.

The two females continued to select electronics, with a total cost of $1,068 and exited the store through the automotive section, police say. A customer in the area noticed and alerted an employee, but the suspect had already left the parking lot.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts and identities can contact Winter Haven police at (863) 291-5858 or send a private message through the agency’s Facebook page. An anonymous tip can also be sent to Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-8477.
