Yetis show us why St. Pete, Clearwater are the best

ST. PETE BEACH (FOX 13) - Visit St. Pete Clearwater reminds northerners each year why #WeLiveHere with memorable marketing campaigns, like the early 2015 "Winter Blows" snowmen (video below) sent to Chicago to encourage the city's frozen residence to visit the Sunshine State. 

This year, a new pair of snowy friends - a loving Yeti couple - are spreading the word about the year-round warmth, stunning beaches, arts, dining and culture of St. Pete and Clearwater beaches.

Their adventures include yoga on the beach, drinks on the roof of Hurricane Seafood restaurant, fishing, beach volleyball and a trip to the Dali Museum.

They included a nod to their snowy roots by making sand angels on the beach. 

Many of the activities enjoyed by the Yeti couple are likely familiar to Bay Area residents, but it's a nice reminder to appreciate where we live - and to brag about our love landscape to friends and family still buried in snow.
