Video: Police rescue teens from burning car

- Rarely in life do we get to witness true heroism.

But in Milwaukee, two police officers risked their lives to save another.

Their body cameras caught the terrifying moments after a crash.

The car is up in flames, but the officers run toward it.

At one point, the officer begins yelling at other people standing near the crash. He can be heard telling dispatchers through his radio that there may be live electrical wires down, as well.

The officer pulls one victim he says is a teenager out of the burning wreckage.

Once the teen is far from the vehicle, he tells dispatchers the boy is unconscious. Then he and another officer run back toward the car and they pull out another victim.

Both teens survived the ordeal.

The teenage driver will be charged with reckless driving.

Milwaukee police officials say they will recommend the officers for merit awards.
