Deputies: Woman shoots, kills husband for fighting her father
RIVERVIEW (FOX 13) - A Riverview woman killed her husband because he would not apologize for fighting with her father, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Sabrina Hendley shot her husband, Mark after he injured her father during a physical altercation, but would not say he was sorry.
It started with a verbal fight between Sabrina and mark just after midnight Saturday. Thinks became violent when Sabrina’s father got involved.
Deputies say Mark Hendley punched Sabrina’s father more than once and then went to his bedroom.
Sabrina Apparently confronted her husband and demanded an apology, but deputies believe Mark refused.
That’s when Sabrina pulled out a handgun from the bed and shot Mark once. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Sabrina Hendley, 40, was arrested and booked at the Hillsborough County Jail. She is being held on a charge of first-degree murder without bond.
