Car crashes into Broward Sheriff's Office

- One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into the Broward County Sheriff's Office station in Pembroke Park, Florida. 

It happened just after 11:30 a.m. Monday. Deputies told WSVN at least one person was transported to the hospital as a trauma alert after a red Toyota crashed into the station.

Video from the scene shows the car inside the building and fire and rescue crews responding. 

There's no word yet on how the car crashed into the building or why. The identity of the person transported has not been released.
