The American Lung Association’s newest fundraising event features local celebrities giving the performances of their lives in the Lip Sync For Lungs Live Battle.

The winner will walk away with the Lip Sync For Lungs Battle Champion title, but the real winners are the hundreds of thousands diagnosed with lung cancer every year.

This is the third year the American Lung Association in Florida has hosted the event, which is being held at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre Thursday, November 15.

Four local celebrities will put their lip-syncing abilities to the test to raise funds to provide lung health programs and advocacy in the Gulf Coast region.

The contestants - CEO and Publisher of Tampa Bay Business & Wealth Bridgette Bello; the Florida COO of WellCare Health Plans Lee Bowers; the Director of Admissions for HealthCare Connection of Tampa Karen McGinnis; and Associate Director for Hillsborough County Anti Drug Alliance Gary White - have each prepared epic performances to win the hearts and souls of the celebrity judges.

Pat Donovan and Aaron Jacobson of The Pat and Aaron Show; published author, certified life coach, certified leadership coach, and certified image consultant Debbie Lundberg, and Rose from The Kane Show will evaluate each performance to declare the Lip Sync For Lungs Battle Champion.

Showtime is scheduled for 7 p.m. General admission tickets for the event are $50 and include open bar, heavy hors-d'oeuvres, and dessert. Preferred admission tickets are $75 and include exclusive early entrance to the event, open bar, delicious heavy hors-d'oeuvres, dessert, a special Lip Sync swag bag, and a preferred seat in one the first rows in the ballroom for the live battle.
