'Armed and dangerous' felon wanted after Sarasota women shot

SARASOTA (FOX 13) - Police in Sarasota are looking for a man suspected in a double shooting from early this morning, and they warn that he is armed and dangerous.
Officers say they responded to a home at 21st Street around 1:30 this morning. Inside4, they found two women who had been shot at close range. They were both taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives now say the gunman was Linval Cohoone, 33. They say Cohoone is considered armed and dangerous and has 45 previous felony charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, burglary, and more.
They are now looking to arrest him om attempted murder charges.
