Man dies following shooting at St. Pete motel, deputies say

- One person is dead following a shooting t a St. Petersburg motel, deputies said.

The shooting occurred Thursday at 9:19 p.m., according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, at the Trak Motel, located at 10610 Gandy Boulevard. 

Deputies said the man was found dead at the crime scene. There is no information on whether there may be a suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
