One dead in Brandon traffic crash

BRANDON, Fla. (FOX 13) - A traffic crash resulted in the death of one person on a Brandon road.

Hillsborough County deputies said it is not a hit-and-run crash and officials are in touch with the driver. The crash occurred on Wheeler Road just west of Parsons Avenue. 

The events leading up to the crash and the victim's identity has not been released. The view from SkyFOX shows Wheeler Road is closed near the intersection of Parsons Avenue.
