Pasco officials have closed Pebble Beach Circle in Bayonet Point after a possible sinkhole opened in a home's yard.

The hole was measured at 5 feet by 8 feet around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Pebble Beach Circle in the area of the hole was closed as a precaution.

Pasco County Emergency Management was on the scene at 12933 Pebble Beach Circle.

PCEM says the depression is on private property, away from the home. Officials said no structures or roadways were threatened or are damaged.

The view from SkyFOX showed yellow tape surrounding the hole between the front of the home and the roadway. The hole's perimeter had also been painted red, likely to measure any possible spreading.

An officer's vehicle was parked nearby.
