Tampa salon heavily damaged in fire

- Firefighters battled a blaze at a salon in Hillsborough County early Sunday morning.

The fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. at Rhonda's Salon on Linebaugh Avenue. 

Officials said the side of the building was heavily damaged in the fire. The building also houses a daycare that sustained some smoke damage.

Fortunately, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
