Truck fire closes lanes near Howard Frankland Bridge

- Flames consumed a pickup truck on the southbound lanes of Interstate 275 in Tampa during Friday's morning commute.

The view from SkyFOX showed fire and black smoke spewing from the white truck, which is sitting just before the Howard Frankland Bridge on the Tampa side.

Firefighters doused the flames and left the truck off to the side, and the two right lanes are blocked.

FOX 13’s traffic reporter Courtney Bright says traffic is building up.
