Vehicle fire halts traffic on US-19 in Clearwater

- The Florida Highway Patrol says a vehicle fire stopped traffic on US-19 in Clearwater Saturday. 

The white pickup truck was fully involved before firefighters came to put it out. 

It happened just after 2:30 p.m. on US-19 just south of the exit for SR-580/Main Street.

Southbound lanes, as well as the northbound entrance ramp, were closed.

It was unclear if anyone was injured in the incident.
