Toddler flown to hospital after near-drowning in Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. - A Pasco County toddler was flown to the hospital after a near drowning Friday morning, emergency officials said.

According to Pasco Fire Rescue, the 3-year-old fell into a pool along Otis Allen Road in Zephyrhills and was underwater for an unknown length of time.

The child was flown to the hospital with what crews called "critical injuries."

No other details were immediately available.
