Bay Area election results

- Voters across the Bay Area went to the polls Tuesday to make their voices heard on issues and candidates spanning a variety of topics and offices. 

In St. Petersburg, the mayoral race took center stage and Mayor Rick Kriseman narrowly took the win over former mayor Rick Baker. 

Pinellas County voters voted "Yes" on the Penny for Pinellas sales tax ballot item by a wide margin.

In Polk County, H. William "Bill" Mutz won the Lakeland mayoral race.

Voters in Auburndale and Winter Haven voted on several amendments and council positions.
