'Giant' spider on windshield appears to sneak up on officer in traffic stop

- A spider crawling on a police cruiser’s windshield appeared to sneak up on a police officer doing a traffic stop.

Dashcash video from the Fulshear Police Department showed the “giant” spider, and it was shared on the agency’s Facebook page.

“This little guy was positioned perfectly on the windshield of the patrol car and gave our clerk, who was reviewing the video, quite the ‘Halloween scare,’” the agency wrote.

City officials said it looked like "a BAD 1950’s special effects movie, we assure you it was real.”

“The angle in which the dash cam captures the spider," the city wrote on its Facebook page, "makes it appear as though a giant spider is about to eat Officer Braly.”
