Lexington police saddened after box truck carrying donuts catches fire

- Police in Kentucky were at a loss for words after a box truck fire – filled with donuts – brought them to tears.

The truck happened to be carrying Krispy Kreme donuts. Lexington police shared images of saddened police officers standing in front of the scorched vehicle on their social media accounts.

They simply wrote, “No words,” over the loss of the officers’ stereotypical favorite treat. The post was shared thousands of times with commenters saying, “Stay strong,” and “Condolences.”

Other law enforcement agencies jokingly sympathized with the officers. Police in the U.K. responded back with, “We feel your loss. We donut what else to say.”
