Two men were arrested for robbing a woman at gunpoint to steal her phone, only to return it when they realized it wasn't an iPhone.

WSVN reports the suspects were taken into custody in Miami on Saturday after a witness, who did not want to be identified, saw the men target his friend for her phone.

“I was in the alley, at the gas station. We heard the gun cock back,” he told the station. “Then our friend came over and said she got robbed.”

But just minutes later, he said the men returned and handed her back her phone.

“They brought it back because it was an Android," he told WSVN. "They wanted an iPhone."

The witness said the robbers' change of heart ended up costing them their freedom.

"We got the tag when they returned the phone back to us, so that’s when I called the police,” he said.
