Shots fired into Zephyrhills police officer's home

The search is on for two men who fired several shots into a Zephryhills police officer’s home.

Police say two unknown males walked onto the officer’s property and fired rounds into the police vehicle, which was parked in the driveway. Then, they fired several shots into the house.

The officer and his family were not injured, according to a media release. Pasco County deputies are assisting in the investigation.

"Anyone in the area of 9th St & 14th Ave in Zephyrhills who may have seen anything suspicious between 3:30-4:30am or who may have security cameras in this area, please contact 18007062488," PCSO tweeted.
