RICHLOAM (FOX 13) - Florida Forest Service crews are battling a brush fire that broke out Sunday afternoon near Richloam.
Officials say most of Hernando County is experiencing smoke and hazy conditions from the neighboring fire.
Fire crews have a control line around the 400 acre fire, and they say no structures are threatened at this time.
Crews are combating the fire with 6 dozers and 2 helicopters. The 2 helicopters have combined to make 85 bucket drops over the blaze.
