Suspect dead after Port Richey standoff

A suspected gunman and one other person are dead after a standoff that forced a neighborhood-wide lockdown in Port Richey this afternoon. The standoff began after a reported "active shooter" near State Road 52 and Meadow Drive. The sheriff's office warned neighboring residents and business to "keep your doors locked" while deputies searched for a suspect.
