Dead convict's DNA matches Hernando cold case

For the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, it has been over 30 years of unanswered questions. Since 1983, they've searched for the man who raped a 12-year-old girl in her Ridge Manor home while holding her 9-year-old sister and her 10-year-old friend at knifepoint. A new DNA profile now points to a man with a history of similar crimes, but who died of cancer in 1998.
