NORTH PORT (FOX 13) - An elderly man thought an ATM machine was broken, but after he walked away, his cash was stolen, police say.
The victim was at the Publix ATM machine in the Cocoplum Village shops, located at 17179 Tamiami Trail in North Port.
Police say the victim walked away just before the money dispersed. An unidentified man approached the machine and walked away with hundreds of dollars.
North Port police are asking anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to call the agency at (941) 429-7379, or send a message through the official Facebook page.
