TAMPA, Fla. - Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Florida voters who have not already cast a ballot can head to the polls when they open to make their voices heard.
Bay Area Election Day voting guide
Polling places across Florida will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Unlike early voting, when voters can use any designated early voting site in their county, voters on Election Day must go to the polling place assigned to their precinct.
Whether you're voting in Citrus, DeSoto, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota or Sumter County, here's what to know before heading to the polls.
What you need to vote
What you can do:
Florida voters must present a valid photo ID that includes a signature when voting in person. If the photo ID does not include a signature, voters must provide another ID that does.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Florida driver's license
- Florida identification card
- U.S. passport
- Debit or credit card
- Military identification
- Student identification
- Retirement center identification
- Neighborhood association identification
- Public assistance identification
- Veteran health identification card issued by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- License to carry a concealed weapon or firearm

Voters who cannot provide identification may vote on a provisional ballot. Election officials will determine whether the ballot can be counted.
