ORLANDO (FOX 13) - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is warning of a "super pill" that's being found in Central Florida with deadly levels of fentanyl.
Federal agents said the counterfeit drugs look identical to prescription pain killers like Percocet, Xanax, or Oxycodone, but they contain dangerous amounts fentanyl. “Consumers have no idea what they are buying when they purchase prescription drugs on the street and just one pill can be deadly,” said FDLE Orlando Special Agent in Charge Danny Banks.

The FDLE said the Orlando crime lab has recently started seeing an uptick of these counterfeit drugs. Investigators say people should only get prescription pain killers from licensed pharmacies.
