BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) - The Humane Society of the Nature Coast said surveillance video from early Thursday morning shows a suspect taking two boxer mix puppies.
(UPDATE: The stolen puppies have since been found!)
The Humane Society of the Nature Coast, located on Mobley Rd. at the corner of Wiscon Rd., posted a plea for help finding the suspect and the puppies on its Facebook page.
The post said, "HSNC is willing to forgive all and will not prosecute if the pups are safely returned."
Anyone who may know the person in the video or the location of the puppies was asked to contact the Hernando County Sheriffs Department or call the Humane Society of the Nature Coast at (352) 796-2711.
