HOLIDAY (FOX 13) - The Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman for hitting a child with a stick dozens of times.
Breeze Bennu, 62, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with child abuse.
According to investigators, Bennu used some type of stick to hit the 6-year-old victim on his behind at least 30 times.
The victim suffered bruising as a result of the abuse.
Bennu told deputies that she hit the child as a form of punishment.
