Here’s what a traveler crossing Florida would have seen in the early 1960s, everything from a Fort Lauderdale airboat ride to Marineland to a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral. This early movie begins with St. Augustine. Next, people are shown catching turtles at Silver Springs. Polk County: 'Region with a Record'

Summer school to help students catch up

Summer school is expected to take on double duty this year since many students fell behind because of the pandemic. Pinellas County administrators are hoping the kids can catch up through their summer learning program.
