Fatal motorcycle crash in St. Pete Beach
A motorcyclist died just before 11 pm Friday night in a crash involving a pickup truck near 3848 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach, deputies say. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says 45-year-old Eric Babb was killed when his bike collided with a pickup truck being driven by 57-year-old Kenan Rader. Investigators say Babb was transported to Palms of Pasadena Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Witnesses told deputies Babb was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
