Looter burglarizes evacuated home
St. Petersburg police are searching for a man who broke into a home after the owners evacuated for Hurricane Irma, they said. Detectives said the suspect broke into a home in the 100 block of 17th Avenue South on September 10 around 6:45 a.m. He broke a window on the back door, entered the home, and began to rummage through drawers.
