Lakeland man celebrates admission to MIT

Sergio Perez has always been nose to the grindstone, hoping it would pay off. It just did. Sergio is a student at Lakeland’s Polk State Collegiate High School, and will soon get a high school diplomas and an associate’s degree.Now he's off to study at MIT.
