Mapping the sea floor for boaters, storm surge

Sometimes it's only a few feet between the bottom of a boat and the ocean floor, and developing better maps just got easier. The University of South Florida's marine science researchers just got a multi-million dollar grant from NOAA to map out shallow water in Tampa Bay and the Gulf. FOX 13's Briona Arradondo reports.
