Tropical storm may form in Gulf
FOX 13 Meteorologist Valerie Mills is keeping an eye on the Gulf and what could become Tropical Storm Isaias by the end of the week. She said there is a small window for it to strengthen, but there are limiting factors, including wind shear across the northern Gulf and drier air that will likely get fed into the system. Mills said it will likely impact the western Florida panhandle to the coast of Louisiana. She added that the models will likely change as the system moves east before getting tugged to the north. Mills added that regardless of the storm developing it will likely bring a lot of rain to Florida and the northeastern portion of the Gulf Coast.
