Saharan dust keeps tropics quiet

FOX 13 Meteorologist Nash Rhodes is watching a quiet Atlantic. He says the main development region is still shrouded in Saharan dust, which is getting whisked away by the Tradewinds into the Caribbean and even the Gulf over the next few weeks. Rhodes says no tropical development is expected over the next seven days.
