It’s a timeless tradition we just can't seem to outgrow, and our state provides the perfect, eerie backdrop for spinning a ghostly tale. It certainly inspired local author Doug Alderson. He caught up with me all the way from Tallahassee to talk about his book and to share a truly hair-raising tale.
