CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - November 15 is "America Recycles Day," so Charley headed to Pinellas County's Department of Solid Waste to get some tips on how to decrease his trash output and recycle more.
According to a county spokesperson, Pinellas is ranked number 1 in the state for recycling. They offer several programs to the community, including household electronics drop off and a swap shop. They also burn waste to produce electricity.
