World Ukulele Day is coming up and the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society is ready.

The group is hosting a concert Friday evening at Pioneer Park in Dunedin. The concert is free, and they’ll even teach you how to play.

At 4 p.m., the society members will hold free Ukulele Beginner Lessons. They’ll teach you how to hold, tune, strum, play chords and learn a few songs. Ukuleles will be available to use if you don’t own one.

At 5 p.m., attendees who play can join in for a Beatles Jam and Singalong.

At 6 p.m., the concert beings with four bands: Tom Hood & The Tropical Sons, Renee & The Rollers, Big Jim Allen & Steve Boisen, Junction 27.
